Average retail repair costs are based on Administrator's national claims experience for Chevrolet vehicles during the period of October 2022 to July 2024 and includes costs associated with parts and labor. Actual repair costs may vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, the type of repair required, your geographic location and inflationary costs.

POWERTRAIN
The Powertrain plan offers basic coverage for your vehicle's most essential parts and components.
SILVER
The Silver plan gives you more coverage, including parts listed in the Powertrain plan, plus front/rear suspension, climate control, electrical, steering, and brakes.
PLATINUM
The most comprehensive coverage, the Platinum plan includes everything listed in the Powertrain and Silver plans, as well as many other mechanical breakdown components, other than items excluded in the customer agreement.

Roadside Assistance
Roadside Assistance coverage includes:
- Towing assistance for a covered break down, $100 per occurrence
- Battery service
- Flat tire assistance for removal and replacement of the flat tire with the vehicle's spare tire
- Emergency fuel service delivery of up to three gallons of fuel, up to three times
- Emergency supply of oil, fluid, or water will be delivered if it is an immediate need. Payment for fluids is your responsibility and is due upon delivery
- Lockout assistance
Rental Car Coverage
In the event of a covered breakdown, rental car expenses up to $40 per day (max.10 days) are included in the plan (excludes fuel, collision damage, and optional insurance charges).
Trip Interruption
If a covered breakdown occurs more than 100 miles from your home and a repair facility needs to keep your vehicle overnight, you may qualify for reimbursement of up to $200 a day for up to five days ($1,000 maximum) for emergency travel expenses.
Transferable
Transfers to another private party are allowed within 30 days of resale or lease assumption, subject to $50 transfer fee. Transfer to a dealership is not allowed. Ask us for details.
Cancellation
Coverage is fully refundable within 30 days if no claims have been filed. After 30 days or if a claim has been filed, you will receive a pro rata refund, less claims paid (where permissible) and any applicable cancellation fees.

Q: Why should I buy the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac Protection Plan if my vehicle is still under warranty?
A: Depending on your vehicle's coverage plan and terms of your warranty, the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac Protection plan can give you added coverage while your warranty is still in effect. Buying a Protection Plan at the time of your vehicle purchase also gives you peace of mind, knowing you will have valuable vehicle protection when your warranty expires.
Q: Where can I have my vehicle repaired?
A: If you have a covered mechanical breakdown during the term of your Chevrolet Protection Plan, you can file a claim and have repairs performed at any licensed repair facility. You can contact our Claims Team if you need assistance finding a licensed repair facility. For more details, you can refer to the Customer Agreement
Q: Can I cancel my Protection Plan?
A: If you are not completely satisfied with your coverage, you will receive a full refund if cancelled within 30 days of purchase with no filed claims. Generally, if you cancel after the first 30 days or if a claim was paid during the first 30 days, you will receive a pro-rata refund based on time or mileage expired, whichever is greater. In addition, a cancellation fee and any claims paid may be deducted from your refund amount. However, please refer to your Customer Agreement for exact cancellation details and state-specific cancellation rules.
Q: Can I transfer my Protection Plan if I sell my car?
A: Your coverage may be easily transferred if the vehicle is sold in a private sale (i.e., not a dealership) within the United States, upon payment of any applicable fee, and completion of paperwork. Transfer requests must be submitted within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle. For additional details about transferring your Chevrolet Protection Plan, please refer to the Customer Agreement.
Q: What is not covered?
A: Exclusions include mechanical breakdowns covered by your vehicle's manufacturer's warranty. Also excluded are mechanical breakdowns caused by accident, collision, vandalism, or weather-related conditions; lack of maintenance or preexisting conditions, or repair/replacement of hybrid batteries, electric batteries, and battery cables. Please refer to the Customer Agreement for full details regarding limitations and exclusions.
Q: What is included with Roadside Assistance?
A: Your Protection Plan offers several Roadside Assistance benefits, including:
· Towing Assistance ($100 benefit per occurrence)
· Battery Service
· Flat Tire Assistance, including removal and replacement of flat tire with the vehicle's spare tire
· Fuel Service: Emergency supply of up to 3 gallons of fuel delivered, up to 3 times
· Oil, Fluid, and Water Delivery: Emergency supply of oil, fluid, or water will be delivered if in immediate need. Payment for fluids is customer's responsibility, due upon delivery.
· Lockout Assistance
24 Hour Roadside Assistance benefit limits are available up to a maximum of one hundred ($100) dollars per incident during the Agreement Coverage Term. Please refer to the Customer Agreement for full details regarding limitations and exclusions.
Q: How does the Trip Interruption benefit work?
A: If you experience a covered mechanical breakdown 100 miles or more away from your residence and repair is delayed overnight due to the unavailability of required parts, you may be reimbursed for up to a $1,000 ($200 per day for up to 5 days) for emergency travel expenses incurred. Trip Interruption is not available to residents of New York.
Q: What is included with Rental Car Coverage?
A: In the event of a covered breakdown and a rental vehicle is required, the Chevrolet Protection Plan will pay for or reimburse you up to $40 per day for a maximum of 10 days for car rental expenses (excluding fuel, collision damage waivers, and optional insurance charges). Q: What coverage levels does the Protection Plan offer?
A: There are three levels of coverage for a Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac Protection Plan: Powertrain, Silver, and Platinum. Powertrain provides basic component coverage, Silver provides more coverage, including parts listed in the Powertrain Plan, plus Suspension (Front and Rear), Climate Control, Electrical, Steering and Brakes. The Platinum Plan is the most comprehensive coverage, including everything listed in the Powertrain and Silver Plans, as well as any other mechanical components or breakdowns, other than items listed as excluded on the Customer Agreement.
Q: What deductible levels are available?
A: All plans include $0, $100, and $250 deductible options.
Q: When does the Protection Plan or term of contract start and end?
A: Coverage runs concurrently with any applicable manufacturer's warranties. Plan expiration is measured in time and miles from the purchase date and odometer reading on the purchase date. Term ends upon expiration of either time or mileage, whichever comes first.
Q: Does the electrical component coverage include items such as OnStar®, factory navigation systems, and factory-installed video components?
A: Yes, these factory-installed components are covered under the Platinum Protection Plan.
